Tapas Tonight



Aperitif to start of Manzanilla seco
Plate of aubergine and oiled goat queso
Cervecas or beer to quench the thirst
Special marbled beef, red to burst

Squid all with garlic and ink
Succulent pork with red wine to drink
Beans tasty, the best of the crop
Artichoke and Iberian jamon atop

And then a course to test the nerve
Chickens blood in tomato they did serve
Followed by sweets of yolk from the wine
Flan and rice pudding so divine

And more to come, is it a dream
Fresh strawberries now and whipped cream
With Pedro Gimenez sweet muscatel
This must be the end, who can tell  

Tapas at the celebrated Meson Juan Pena
Around the corner from the Moorish mezquita
Cordoba’s best put to the test
The tapas tonight truly the best
